Silent Voices

Romans 1:20 gives warning of the outcome from ignoring these voices, “For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse.” The great choir of creation sings in testimony of God. All around us, every day, these silent voices bear witness to God’s attributes, power and nature. The Victorian-era poet, Elizabeth Barrett Browning declared, “Earth's crammed with Heaven, and every common bush afire with God. But only he who sees, takes off his shoes."
